Life has taught me not to treat special moments like they're guaranteed. We move fast. We work. We build. We serve. We take care of everybody else. And sometimes, without realizing it, we can become so focused on what's next that we forget to fully appreciate who's right beside us.
Birthdays aren't promised.
So when the person you love is blessed to see another year, pause. Celebrate them. Put the phone down. Make the reservation. Buy the flowers. Take the picture. Say what you feel while they're here to hear it.
Marriage has taught me that love isn't only about the big moments- it's about being intentional enough to make your spouse feel seen, valued, desired and appreciated along the way.
And today, I get to celebrate my wife, Ericka Lee aka Queen Lee.
You're my wife, my partner, my friend, and the woman I get to build life with. I don't take another year of your life or another year of us for granted.
To every man reading this: cherish your wife while you have the opportunity. Don't wait for a special occasion to be intentional, but when those special days come, make them count.
Create the memory. Give her the flowers. Speak the words.
Because birthday's aren't promised and neither are moments.
Happy Birthday to you , Queen Lee
I love you. I honor you. And I'm grateful God gave me another opportunity to celebrate you. - Pastor K
